Like I said in my first post I was brought here because of bashing of this site through another one. I am also a member of that site plus the one where no one gets along. Reading Robin and Silly girl going at it in another thread had me smiling.

This member Robin portrays out his character like the comic books one. Glad to see he gets his kicks out of it while maybe fulfilling his childhood dreams, who knows. But it's all in the good. Relaxing for him I presume. Then you have a member that thinks he is God, maybe he is :biggrin2:. A prick who thinks like Charlie Sheen. Danny de Vito, Tiny with the opposite avatar picture. Guido, Madman, Papasmerf a Boing, Casanova, Cardinal, and all. Plus the female presence here is fun to joke with.

Just wanted to ask. How did you all come about choosing your character handle name. There must be a reason behind it.

I chose mine because I believe that freedom still exists and hope the corporate and government world will slow down on their compulsive way of trying to control us.

A friend of mine downloaded the entire volume of the series The Third Watch for me.

I was watching 5 or so episodes a day when a member of the red board told me about this one.

Since I thought the Boscorelli character was so fascinating I decided to adopt it here.

I went through different reincarnations on several boards. I tried a whole bevy of handles. Mostly because I kept forgetting my passwords and rather than constantly contacting the admin to reset it, thereby acknowledging my incompetence, I just picked a new handle. This led to several run ins with the mod and subsequent suspensions.

Originally I picked Dead Salmon, then for a while, Trout. Then Fried Trout, then Poached Trout In A White Wine Sauce, and finally, Herring. Suspended for nearly a month, I came back as Red Herring, which became Dead Herring for a while, and then Dead Loss, which reflected the current state of my mental health. Leaving the first board to get my head together, I returned a fortnight later as Head Together, a tight little name which lasted me through a difficult period when I was suspected of suffering from death. It turned out to be only a rumor and I returned two days later as Not Dead Yet, then Dead Gear, which lead to Dead Donkeys, Lead Donkeys, and the inevitable suspension for one week for being stupid. After nearly ten days, I returned as Sole Manier, then Dead Sole, Rock Cod, Turbot, Haddock, White Baith, the Places, Fish, Bream, Mackerel, Salmon, Poached Salmon, Poached Salmon In A White Wine Sauce, Salmon-monia, and Helen Shapiro. This last name, my favorite, had to be dropped following an injunction and another one week ban. When I returned after a record breaking two days, I ditched the fishy references and became Cardinal Fang, a name which has stuck with for the rest of my life.

So....uh...ya.
