I signed up here quickly just so I could respond to a couple of points in this thread.

First off, with respect to the quote above, I specifically made the point that:

Everything I say here about this subject applies equally to both genders as far as I’m concerned, though. No double standard here.

The article was written from my perspective from having seen quite a few men and having discussed the subject with them. So, naturally, it's going to take on that tack. I did make the statement in multiple ways that the point about communication went both ways, however.

It'd be nice if, when someone reads, they actually read to comprehend rather than just reading through an article. ;-)

They didn't "call" me - they e-mailed me. If you PM me your e-mail address, I'll be happy to forward you the original e-mails (with the senders' info redacted). Quite honestly, I get a lot of women contacting me asking for advice on a variety of subjects. I'm not sure why you'd be so "skeptical" about that.
