  • Who is it about?
  • What happened?
  • When did it take place?
  • Where did it take place?
  • Why did it happen?

ha ha me too, I'll talk about it when I ma littke bit less drunk:shout:

I am not absolutely sure as to the series of events.

But when I rented the room there was no DB in it.

I checked in at 1:03 am and did not bother to un pack. I laid down and slept.

At 0430 my alarm went off and I puttered around till 0500
At 0501 I hit the showered and shaved

Out the door by 0530

it was about 1830 when I returned to my room and saw the walls painted with blood.

as I reached for my cell, to dial 911 I thought who saw me leave this morning. I recalled a short conversation with Sal, the night clerk.

While waiting for the police I began to check out the CS and I realized Megan, a girl I had tutored was killed. I did a quick search before the police came in.

I knew all 5 cops who responded.....3 I could count on as honest..........the other two scared the crap out of me.

they were not what you would call honest or for sale, anymore.

They was bought and paid for by the people who I suspect left Megan as their calling card.

You lost me there papasmerf. Do I have to belong to an exclusive club to understand?.

Megan was a Grad-Student at UNC Charlotte, when I first met her.

She had contacted me to help her with charting and dead reckoning.

Although her degree was to be in History, she wanted to Captain her own research vessel.
I worked with her for maybe a month, a few days a week.

For the life of me I could not see any connection between Megan and what I was working on until Captain "Morgan" entered the interrogation room.

The man known to the Texas State Police as Captain Joshua Morgan was actually Woodrow Pickering.

He and I had worked on and off together from Buffalo to Rio.

it was about 0230 on 9-12-01 when Pickering first contacted me

These damn reality shows. Let's get on with it, I can't wait til next week to hear the ending.

Woodrow's presence was not a god sign. His specialty is blurring the truth and he is good at it.

He is the one who came up with hope and change for a prominent political leaders platform, a few years back.
And boy did that work.

But I digress. He was there to make sure the investigation focused on me and not Megan.

Pickering's greatest assets are his ability to blend into the woodwork and his ability to sell his version of the truth.

In the past when we worked together, he answered to me. Now I find myself answering to his version of the truth.

The only fact the Texas State police has right is Megan was found murdered in my hotel room.

It was clear to me that unless I would work with him, he would begin selling the premise that I knew more then I was letting on.
That would bring the police around to concentrating on me as the only suspect.

While my cover was secure the time line could be a problem.
