I for one an happy Canadians can now legally own a dog.

In some places in Canada, we're not able to own all types of dogs, though. For example, I can own a pitbull in Montreal, but not in Ottawa. I would have to dress the bugger up in a Chihuahua suit when I cross the border.

They can never boast of having a celebrity like Rob Ford.

:LMAO: Moose skiing in powder! Love it!

Those things can really move when they need too. I watched a young moose running in a river in Jasper National Park, then race along the side of the bank - It was like watching a thoroughbred horse, so graceful for such a clumsy looking animal.

Another day I got stuck on a logging road in the Okanagan, following a very small moose calf as it ran up the middle of the road. I didn't want to startle it, so slowly tried to herd it off to the side of the road, mile after mile, and it kept running straight up the middle.

:biggrin2:

One more moose story - was out in the bush near Merritt and caught a huge adult bull moose trying to sneak across a field in the early spring when the crops hadn't started to grow yet. He froze, then raced into the middle of a herd of cattle, then froze again, like he thought he was invisible amongst them. The cows were all looking at the moose like they thought it was nuts. I should try to find the pics I took, lol.
