So now the news wants to show how smart they are and stories like this are all over.

Since the LVPD has not released every detail the NET and press at large are trying to fill the void.

I keep hearing that there is more info than has been released.
This I expect is true.
As you know many crimes go unsolved and while we know who the shooter was we may never know why.
On Tuesday an FBI profiler said they just have no negative read on this guy...Except for the shootings.

A note found in the hotel room of the man who shot into a crowd from his perch in a Las Vegas high-rise included hand-written calculations about where he needed to aim to maximize his accuracy and kill as many people as possible.
In an interview airing Sunday on "60 Minutes," three police officers who stormed Stephen Paddock's hotel room in the Mandalay Bay hotel tell correspondent Bill Whitaker new details about the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history. The officers were the first to see Paddock's body and the arsenal of weapons and ammunition he had stockpiled.
Officer David Newton from the Las Vegas Police Department's K-9 unit said he noticed a note on the shooter's nightstand once officers breached the room. He said the note was located near one of the windows that Paddock had smashed with a hammer to fire onto the crowd below with high-powered semi-automatic rifles outfitted to increase their rate of fire.
"I could see on it he had written the distance, the elevation he was on, the drop of what his bullet was gonna be for the crowd," Newton said. "So he had that written down and figured out so he would know where to shoot to hit his targets from there."
Paddock's hotel suite was on the 32nd floor of the hotel, looking down on the crowd across the street. More than 20,000 people were attending the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival when Paddock opened fire. The crowd was approximately 400 yards away, well within range of the expensive custom-made rifles found in his suite.
Newton told Whitaker what it was like to enter the room amid the flashing lights of a fire alarm set off by an explosive used to blow through the door.
"Very eerie. Yeah, the dust from the explosive breach. And then you have the flashing lights," Newton said. "And that looked straight, like, out of a movie, you know?"
Whitaker spoke to the team in their first in-depth interview and to Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo for a story to be broadcast on "60 Minutes" this Sunday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m. ET/PT on the CBS Television Network.

Here we go: NEW YORK (Reuters) - A California woman wounded in the mass shooting at a Las Vegas music festival has filed a lawsuit against the operators of the hotel where the gunman fired from, the festival organizers and the maker of a device that allowed weapons to be fired at a near-automatic rate.
Paige Gasper, 21, said in the lawsuit that the defendants’ negligence led to the life-threatening injuries she suffered when a bullet shattered her ribs and lacerated her liver. The lawsuit was filed on Tuesday in Clark County, Nevada.
Stephen Paddock, the 64-year-old gunman, fired into the festival crowd from a 32nd-floor hotel suite at the Mandalay Bay hotel on Oct. 1, killing 58 people and injuring hundreds more. Paddock killed himself before the police stormed his suite.
Gasper’s lawsuit says MGM Resorts International and its subsidiary Mandalay Corp. [MGGMR.UL], which own the hotel, failed to properly monitor Paddock’s activities and responded too late to the shooting of a hotel security officer. Paddock fired at the security officer six minutes before opening fire on the crowd below.
Gasper said the festival organizer, Live Nation Entertainment, Inc., was negligent for failing to provide adequate exits and properly train staff for an emergency.
The companies did not immediately reply to a request for comment.
Legal experts said claims such as Gasper’s would face an uphill battle.
Victor Schwartz, an attorney specializing in injury cases, said that in order to hold MGM liable, victims would have to show the company could have foreseen the shooting and taken steps to prevent it.
That would be difficult for such an extreme event, he said.
Gasper’s lawsuit also accused Slide Fire Solutions, the maker of bump stock devices that were used by the gunman, of negligence, design and manufacturing defects. The devices are legal and allow semiautomatic rifles to operate as if they were fully automatic machine guns, which are heavily restricted in the United States.
Such claims would have to survive a law passed by U.S. Congress in 2005 that shields manufacturers of firearms, component parts or ammunition from liability if their products are used to commit a crime. Legal experts said it was not clear whether the component parts definition applied to bump stock devices.
Slide Fire did not respond to requests for comment.
In a separate lawsuit filed over the weekend, a group of plaintiffs accused the makers of bump stocks of negligence for inflicting emotional distress on thousands of people.
Gasper also alleged battery and the intentional infliction of emotional distress against the estate of Paddock, arguing the shooter acted with malice and evil intent, causing her injuries.
