A buddy of mine lost his $1200 tip cheque. If found can anyone cash it?.

His boss too lazy to report it to the bank. Issuing him a new one, buddy tells boss if found and cash he is not responsible. Boss says they can't cash it because you need ID to deposit and withdraw it. Plus all banks and bank machines have multiple cameras.

Can anyone cash a cheque in their account if it's not under his name?.

It'd be easy as heck to deposit it in an ATM but also pretty easy to get caught if the company says anything to their bank. Smart move would be to put a stop payment on the cheque so the banks would be more cooperative.
