The going down part is not the issue. The kissing before and after is if the person hasn't trimmed around the mouth.

As for stubble, SG, I can relate but for some reason I luv the added abrasion on my girly parts but the lips on my face get all raw and sore from repeat contact. I don't notice until after when I'm no longer making out and so it simply serves as a reminder of hawtness.

A man's facial hair is his thing. I would never dream of telling him what he should do with it. But ya, I probably wouldn't date someone who sported the patchy look and thought he looked amazing.
