You are walking down the street past an infertility clinic, when you notice the place is going up in flames. Inside is a single baby in a crib and one thousand frozen embryos in storage. You can only save one or the other. Which one? Why?

Well, the baby!

The child's incredibly sexy single mother is screaming frantically for help. I throw my glasses, peel my shirt off and turn into SUPERHOF into the building I run and save the child. The child's incredibly sexy single mother is so grateful that she says, "How can I ever repay you SUPERHOF" I politely smile and say, "Superman is faster than a speeding bullet!" I'm gonna rock your ass all night long!

First of all there are alternatives to killing babies to get stem cells.

Until you address that we have nothing to discuss.

BTW you kill the shop owner and save a million more

I'd save the 1000 embryos - so many grateful moms-to-be who will suck my cock as a reward.

The baby will be worth more in the black market :666:

Joke :beurk:

What is there to address?. The alternatives are bogus.

The baby. The stuff in the freezer might survive the fire.

that is where the problem sets.

The if I do not kill a baby there is no way it will work attitude.

well, since stem cells can be cloned or artificially grown, and or taken from umbilical cord blood, no baby or future baby or clump of embryonic cells need to be "harvested" in order to produce stem cells.

Anyone who is against stem cell research ought to be locked up as being a danger to society. For that matter they should be against all other forms of medical research including searching for a cure for cancer and all other diseases. If they're against stem cell research on moral grounds.....

I for one am all for pre-screening of couples who want to have kids to determine if their offspring will be susceptible to all sorts of diseases.......or birth defects. I cite the example I used a while ago of the couple who knew they both carried the gene that would produce a child with (can't remember the horrible disease/defect) and knew the odds were something like 80/20 that the child would be born with this disease and would require millions of dollars of constant medical treatment in order to simply exist, and in no way "live". They went ahead anyways despite the warnings and sure enough, the child was born and sure enough, would cost millions to keep alive.

I sympathize wih both sides. I will let people choose to be pro choice if they want and don't get caught up either way.

But if I was dating a woman and she told me she was pregnant and getting an abortion no matter what I thought. That would be our last date together
