Advice needed on medical service regarding skin cancer treatment.

Friend is from Europe and diagnosed with skin cancer (Too much time under the sun). Wants a second opinion from an Oncologist in Canada and willing to pay cash in full. But we cannot find anyone that can do it here. We googled it and called for referrals without any luck.

So basically looking for a specialist that can give her a second opinion.

Thank you but doesn't help much. Let's call her Mary and let's say she lives in Portugal.

Her doctor diagnosed her with skin cancer. All she wants is a second opinion from a Canadian doctor but somehow with the laws and restrictions on how to pay she is lost.

Are there private clinics here that can take her money and give her advice without worrying about referrals or OHIP related?.

Just tell her to visit NYC, lots of doctors that can help if you have money.

I suggest you try Medcan. They are medicine for money, in downtown Toronto. Though they usually work on annual fee basis.
