I have always liked people who are older than me. I don't think that age is a problem at all, if you like her/him then it's all good.

What is your perspective about age gap?

It takes a LOT of work, but what meaningful relationship doesn't? The only part that still is worrisome is what I'll do when he's gone which is more imminent than most.

The age thing doesn't bother me. I've dated older, and I've recently dated girls 14 years younger than me. I've got something of a nurturing fetish, so that dynamic works for me. There IS a bit of a generational disconnect that the two must overcome, but if it works, it works!

There was about a 15-16 year difference in age between my father and mother. She saw him when he was coming back from WWII, and knew that was the man she was going to marry.

But that was then, and this is now, and the generation gap is widening quicker than ever, so I can see an age gap becoming potentially a bigger problem.

It's always interesting how this question cycles through the BB's. I'm more interested in what tweaked it in the OP's head to ask this time.

As had been said, if she's legal and you feel good with each other go for it. Conversely, if you're legal, go for it.

IMHO believe that age does not matter but it is the maturity (or mindset) of the individuals. When the individuals are over the age of 18 ...
