Question to agencies, is this kosher with you? If it's a hotel, don't you (agency) pay for that? Is there a cut given to you from the "Indy"? With TDL, they charge their girls $30 per shift for the hotel; the "Hotel Fee" fucking ridiculous but does this give the girls the right to do as they please with said room if they take the booking based on their own ad(s) or private booking?

What if it's a condo? It's the agencies property. Should they be informed of private use?

Set all of us straight. Inquiring minds want to know.

I'm confused, you mentioned in another post, that when you see an agency girl you'll ask for her number and see her on the side, when this is done, that is double dipping. So if that doesn't bother you then why be concerned about other ways they may double dip?:) Dishonesty is dishonesty, and whether it is done by a client or an escort, it is wrong and unfair.

Hmm if a guy makes a date with an agency girl to meet on the side, probably as an out call, using her own resources to get there, I wouldn't consider that double dipping. Using agency resources, without telling the agency, now that is double dipping.

Perhaps, but the girl/employee of the agency is dd. If she is working for the agency and sees a client she has met through the agency, on her own time-that's stealing imo, if she sees him on the days/nights she is also working for the agency, that is double dipping and stealing. If the client asks to see a girl on the side that he has met through an agency, that too is stealing. Assuming that neither has informed the agency of their actions. If all clients and employees did this, how would the agency make money? If a client likes a girl he sees through an agency, be grateful to the agency by calling them to see her again, as I said before, without the agency, the client wouldn't have found this dream girl. If as a client you feel your dream girl deserves more money, then tip her. If an employee feels they deserve all of the money, then go independent. It's that simple:)

Hmm good points. I didn't think it all through. What about MPAs who meet clients outside? This is often referred to as "take out".

I agree with everything you said and I think it's not fair to hire an agency girl and try to finagle a side deal privately.

If I were an agency owner I would blacklist these individualist from ever using my agency again.

Let me clarify. I NEVER initiate the discussion to meet on the side. Asking for numbers is not on my agenda but if I'm presented with that private option, of course I'll take it and our time is monitored and not on an assembly line. My usual question to follow up that offer is "as long as you don't get in trouble because IDGAF quite honestly, it's all the same to me".

This is true, BUT they DO NOT OWN HER FREE TIME!! You're tribute to the agency for putting the two of parties together is honorable, BUT she is still free to do with what she chooses on her own time. My question is really what ERecTile has stated above and using Agency resources.

Why should I pay a "finders fee". Agencies will still continue to make money off the lady as long as she chooses to stay and work for them when she is on shift. SHE DOES NOT WORK FOR THEM OFF SHIFT!!

Same as above. What she does with her own time is her choice.

You are working for ABC Advertising Firm and you handle many many big accounts.

Will this firm allow you on YOUR OWN TIME to take on private accounts??

That is easily resolved by an NDA or Employment contract SIGNED at the time of hire. Show me an employment contract ANY girls have signed.

Sorry but your thinking is skewed. No one is saying an agency owns the girl, but most think that trust is a given in a business relationship and employers shouldn't have to monitor their employees on their "free time", nor should they have to second guess their commitment . If everyone was out to hustle, then with your thinking, the agency should send their most trusted girl on calls where clients request a particular girl, instead of the requested girl. In other words, the agency should lie to the clients, bait and switch.....since by your way of thinking, it's okay to deceive. A girls "free time" is hers to do with as she pleases. That doesn't mean it's okay to see agency clients on the side. There are unwritten rules in this business-from the clients perspective, bait n switch is a no no, upcharging is a no no, denying services promised is a no no, these are just a few that can illicit a negative review and with such, potentially ruin a girl. From an agency perspective, stealing clients is a no no, giving out your personal number while with an agency client, is a no no, those are just a couple of rules that I would fire a girl for breaking. By the way, if this girl is willing to rip off her agency, who's to say at some point she may not rip you off. Dishonesty is dishonesty and no matter how you rap it , it's wrong:)

I wouldn't be surprised if some agencies have a written contract, or at lease a verbal agreement about these issues.

^ Who knows. In these times though, it might be a good idea to have a lawyer draw up something in case legal issues arose.

I know I was told bluntly that if I saw clients outside of the agency, I would be fined and/or fired. The boss considered it stealing.

I think you're taking this all out of perspective and or thinking in a wider berth than I am. Granted, you have valid points. I'm just as much a "victim" to this by playing on my personal needs instead of thinking in a wider perspective. But, I still think it's okay for a lady to do what she pleases on her own time. As for "ripping off" and additional charges etc etc. It's done everyday, agencies and indies. I see no claims made by ANY agencies that the girls will not upsell and or provide the services listed with guarantee. Some agencies/indies indicate an additional charge for PSE and or indicate $$ for certain services, but this is not a common advertised practice. This goes both ways.

I initially specified certain ladies that do this and advertise separately from the agency, but that has been edited by the mods. It's not a secret as it's been outed by other boards, but whatever. If the agency were reading and doing their research (which I know they do), why is it still happening openly and the girl(s) are still with those agencies....?

Perhaps and agency best practices doc and or forum should be authored and distributed. Perhaps binding contracts should be agreed to by agency and sp. Perhaps the legislative committee should legalize and bind all parties to a governing state.

I'd love to see an agency's feedback on this.

I think ultimately this is a moral question than legal, given the nature of the industry that is. Bottom line, no one can stop this from happening, but if an agency found out about it after the fact, nothing will stop them from firing her and blacklisting her to other agencies. Before a SP does this, she should consider the potential risk.

Everything about the biz is "underground". But that just makes it even more important to conduct one's business with fairness and honour.

Exactly. The whole prostitution business is something no one wants to talk about openly, but I do in my civilian life and it shocks most. The issue with an underground economy is self governance without an underground mentality and that's where I see this. Any organization and or industry that governs itself is open to interpretation, nefarious tactics and bullying. Not good for anyone.

What if a lady transfers agencies and continues to see a client that originally met her with her past agency, but decides to see him privately ? Is that "stealing" from the new agency? Fodder. Discuss.

OK that's a tough question. The best I got is transparency. If a lady moved to another agency and wanted to continue seeing a reg privately then as long as she is not using agency resources, then fine. But the better path would be to bring said client to the new agency and increase their revenue and maybe even get a bonus, like when lawyers move firms.

The only "Bonus" I've ever heard about from an SP is a monetary amount for each good review posted on a board.

These "signing" bonuses by most MP's etc are utter bullshit from what I've been told and what has already been discussed by SP's. Here fishy fishy.....

I dont see why a SP would want to do this though. The risks and effort far outweigh any financial gain. If she like someone enough to see him on her free time, then she might as well date the guy.

I had an opportunity to see a SP outside once. We had chatted back and forth for a while. I even shopped around for her for other agencies. But all this happened AFTER she was off their site. She's back with them now and we've stopped chatting. Guess which relationship outlasted the other?

There's an organization that started up a couple years ago called TRAC, that has a code of conduct for agencies.
