A mummified elongated skull found in Peru could finally prove the existence of aliens.The strangely shaped head - almost as big as its 50cm (20in) body - has baffled anthropologists.It was one of two sets of remains found in the city of Andahuaylillas in the southern province of Quispicanchi.

Ummmm stumps anthropologists? There have been many odd birth defects that could have caused this....John Merrick for example....was he an alien too? and we know that many south american countries are home to many really odd birth defects like siamese twins etc. They seem to occur more often in this backwoods countries than in modern cities.....

Whether, it's a birth defect, hybrid human, or human -- it is all up for debate.

well, it depends on what you consider "human". Were they neanderthal? Cro Magnon? but even still, we have basketball players that are 7' today so it isn't surprising that there were some in the past.

But none the less, we all basically came from star matter anyways so in reality, we're all aliens......(as I hum the song "it's no fun, being an illegal a li ennNNnnnn......)

I saw on Nature that with bones, the DNA breaks down when the bones dry out too much or something like that.....they recently found an inca bone that had some cells still intact inside the bone and were able to extract DNA from that....

I saw a show recently where they identified an Egyptian mummy through DNA from a tooth.

Oh hey it says this in the article...The remains of an eyeball in the right socket will help determine its genetic DNA - and clear up the controversy if it is human or not.

The Indians in South America would put boards on some of the children's heads to shape it like that...
Saw it in a documentary or learned it in school........

they were incas and it was straps not boards......they'd bind the skull while it was soft to shape it like the one shown....
