Toronto is the only Canadian city on Amazon Inc.’s short list of 20 candidates for a second North American headquarters.
The e-commerce giant received 238 applications for the opportunity and says narrowing it down to 20 was very tough.
The other Canadian communities that applied but didn’t make the short list include Hamilton, Ottawa-Gatineau, Sault Ste. Marie, Simcoe County, Halifax, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Winnipeg and Windsor.
Amazon says it plans to choose the location later this year after diving deeper into the proposals from its top cities.

I have no problem with that.....look at all of the money his company has saved for consumers!.....look at all of the people he employs directly or indirectly (ie. delivery companies, people who work for the companies that make the products that sell on Amazon, etc.).

Look at all the money the next city that gets his second warehouse will get.

That's because they don't know how things really work. They think that by Bezos accumulating all of that money, he must've prevented someone else from getting it. They don't realize that if there were no Amazon.com, many small companies would have never succeeded and some large companies would have stayed tiny. They don't see that it's not just the wealth that he gets, he created wealth that went to lots and lots of people. Imagine what it would look like if Amazon just disappeared. How many businesses would die....how many investors would lose all that money....how many employees would be jobless. He's not getting rich off of workers......he's gotten rich by providing jobs for workers (even in companies he doesn't own).

Yes they don't know how economics work in a free country, the Looney Left actually "think" that socialism/communism is a viable economic system.

No matter how many times it is proven to them, that it doesn't work.

So just wasted bandwidth trying to educate them, they are beyond hope.
