IfYouSeekAmy, to embed a video in your post, you can do one of two things:

1) add video and /video inside square brackets on the left and right of the URL of your video link, or

2) In the Quick Reply toolbar, You'll see an icon that looks like a letter H, with a blue background. That's the insert video tool. It's supposed to represent two frames of film. Copy your video link URL, and click on the 'insert video' icon. A popup window will appear, in which you would paste the video URL, and then click the OK button to confirm the insertion. The popup window will let you know which other video hosting sites, besides YouTube, can also be linked to a forum post.

If you ever forget these instructions, click the Reply with Quote button for any post that has an embedded video, and you'll see the HTML tags, as per method 1 above. Then just format your link the same way.

Not so easy when you're doing it on your phone.

I'll bet your ass must look like a waffle iron, after you do that, and you probably accidentally call some guy in New Zealand, if you're doing it right. Unless the phone has touch pad numbers, of course. Those phones don't leave marks, when you're doing it on one of them, but it's easy to crack the plexiglass, if you're not careful, or if you're heavy.

Actually, I know the code to do it on my phone. I just don't because loading my reply afterwards crashes the browser on my phone. As does taking too long to post. So I just paste in the link and assume people know how to click. :tongue: Thank you to both of you though, bito and bolt.
