My brother and nephew are coming to visit in few weeks and he wants to eat some Italian food.

Can you folks recommend a good Italian place in the downtown area?

What is downtown for you?.

Sotto Sotto in on avenue and davenport, if he doesn't mind cave live eating. Best seafood risotto.

Anyone have experience with Little Anthony's?
121 Richmond St W

Nocce and Sotto Sotto would have been my suggestion and I'm glad others came up with that as well. Terroni on Queen is pretty good for the money you pay but it can't compare to Nocce and Sotto Sotto. Those are just out of this world.

Wait a minute... There is such a thing as bad Italian food?

Sorry Danolo, I don't really have anything to contribute. My only experiences with Italian downtown would be Kit Kat on King st West, Ciao in Yorkville, Alice Fazooli's in the Entertainment District which is closed I think, Hot House Cafe and the Old Spaghetti Factory near the Esplanade. And I enjoyed every experience immensely!

Sadly yes. I'm sorry to say that I've been to one place on Eglinton Ave West that over cooked my pasta. When I complained to the waiter he came back with the answer from the "Chef" that that's how it should be served.

Papa made you pay for that complaint. Did you not notice your alfredo sauce was very salty?

Danolo, what time should I be there??
