This story was clearly written to elicit a negative response to the idea of hunting.................That is just another example of telling others how to think or feel.

I have no issue with those who hunt or fish.........While I find trophy hunters to be morally bankrupt, I have no problem with the eat what you kill people.

I have much more of a problem with people like the writer of this article...............

Another attention seeker and pathetic parent. Hunt if you will, but make it a sport/fun or a game and I'll gripe. When is killing anything sport, and to celebrate and encourage your child doing something so violent isn't normal, imo, it's sick. Things like this, I believe encourage violence and erase compassion .Just how I see it. If you are going to teach your child how to hunt then also teach the child to respect the animal, not tear it open and eat it's raw parts. We are civilized aren't we?

The eating of a hunted animals heart is a sign of respect. This isn't just this guy's tradition. It's been a tradition in many cultures.

Comments like "another killer is born" are just as bad as "what kind of perverted creep pays women for sex?" Are you as willing to subject your actions to the judgement of others as you are to judge others? Are you a vegan or are you one of those horrible people who cause suffering to animals just so you can stuff your face?

Perspective people.

I get so sick of hearing this tradition bullshit! So something like this is okay because it's been done before and by the ancestors? Nope.... that doesn't make it right! If they respected the animal they'd let it live. There are people who enjoy killing, that's bloodlust, then there are people who kill to sustain themselves, there is a difference. This "tradition" is bloodlust.
It's a cultural tradition to boil cats alive in China and other Asian countries, to deep fry fish by immersing the body only, so it's still alive when served on your plate, it's tradition and cultural to eat dogs, and to cause them to suffer as much as possible before eating to promote virility and foolishness, should we be good with this crap too! Traditions don't justify violence, cruelty and other unnecessary treatments of other beings.
