I've been experimenting with inexpensive, quiet ways to keep cool during the heatwaves, and I've learned that putting a block of ice in a bowl on the floor under my computer desk will cool off the area where I'm sitting, and blowing a fan over a big chunk of ice can cool off the half of the room when it gets really hot.

My one sister's birthday was also Saturday. So Sunday, we're all heading up Belleville way to my other sister's to have a get together. I just gotta figure out what to do up there, since really I'm just the driver.
