Another unnecessary death in Halifax, 2 murders in the past week, both young men, where will it end.

So true! If caught carry an illegal gun it should be 25 years automatic jail sentence.

In the Charter, we have the right to life, liberty and security of person. The police can't protect you from violence or even death, they can only respond to you once you have been a victim of such crimes. So, even by the laws of the land, the Charter implicity provides for the right of Canadians to carry guns and protect themselves.


Some questions for you Madman:

If guns are so dangerous, why do police carry them? Police have more power to use them violently than you or I do.

If making guns illegal prevented gun violence, why don't we make poverty illegal and STDs illegal too?

If every citizen in North Korea had a gun, do you think Kim Jung Il could put people in tortue camps as he does now?

Why do you think Switzerland wasn't invaded by the Nazis? Everyone had a weapon in Switzerland. How could the Germans possibly defeat so many armed citizens?

Why do you think land troops have never invaded the U.S., even during WWII?
