Some variables are involved in answering that. If someone says it to themselves and is okay with the word, then no. If someone who enjoys hearing the word said for example within the context of sexual activity, then no again. If you call your sister or signifigant other that word in an attempt to annoy, then yes, it is distasteful in that regard.
