any iphone know it alls?

So minutes ago my iphone 4 quit on me, it's been stuck in headset mode for the past week so I've been planning on getting a new phone. My dilemma... which one to buy? I don't use any of it's technology so getting the latest would be a waste imo, but if I just go to the iphone 5 is that too a waste? I just use the camera and phone for answering amd making calls, I don't even text so should I switch to android, iphone 5, 6, any opinions?

Mid range phone a couple of hundred less than the Samsung or Crapple

If you don't use half of its capabilities go with the cheaper one.

I like the iPhone even though it does a lot more than I'm capable of. Once you get used to the iPhone, it would be hard to go back to android. I have a 6 and would upgrade to 6 s, but contract is up in November, so I'll just wait for the next gen.
I've never been an apple person, but converted my music library to iTunes, now my phone is also my music for the car. I'd be lost without it.
and, the LifeProof case has saved me already

bought the iphone 6 and am happy, best to stick with what I know, android is probably better but so long as I can make/receive calls and have better pic quality I'm happy. Btw when I got to the store the girl got my old phone working, she said it probably just froze, apparently they do that from time to time. I also got a cute case and speaker for music I'm back in the loop, lol.

I'm a Blackberry guy but it's better you stayed with what you know. Less of a learning curve.

I phone 6 rocks love it. Check out the app store and apple TV if you do a lot of tube time (TV) Apple TV and air play on your phone are awesome.

@Rocket1- yes so far it's a great phone, got a couple apps set up already, but tv, probably not
