anyone into MMA?

i dont follow this "sport" at all.
but i heard this story on the radio today, which was extremely disturbing.

https://latimesblogs.latimes.com/sp...th-murder-aggravated-mayhem-and-torture-.html

maybe dalton mcquinty is right re not legalizing MMA in ontario?

Jeffery Dahmer was an evangelical Christian who served in the military, do you think those should be outlawed as well just in case those contributed to his crimes?

I believe the fact that he was on Mushrooms might have been a larger contributing factor to the crime much more so than training in martial arts that the accused received. Perhaps Canada should consider outlawing psilocybin mushrooms to reduce the chances of this happening again... oh wait... ;)

Oh and perhaps we might also want to look at better health care for those with mental health issues, just in case this isn't an isolated incident, you know because it's not always drug induced breaks, sometimes people use the drugs to self medicate.

This is about the most idiotic comment I have read on a board in quite a long time.

Please tell me you are just trolling.

easy there big guy. my personal opinion is nowhere stated in my post.
merely positing a scenario for intellectual adults to engage in a friendly debate.
i was hoping that would be possible on this interesting site, kyra got it off to a good start, but so far your proving me wrong.
as you were.

thanks for having my back beenthere123...... i think

I agree MMA has nothing to do with a nut that loses his mind on drugs and goes on a rampage. A cab driver went on a shooting spree, it doesn't mean we're going to see cab drivers snipering pedestrians from their cabs.

The comment I'm referring too is the absurd question you asked.

Here's a clue for you. Ridiculous questions do not stimulate intellectual debate amongst adults.

instead of hurling insults, lets please hear your well thought out argument for legalizing MMA, the original purpose of the thread. thanks.

Since you know by your own admission very little about MMA.

I suggest you go here and post your thread and see what kind of response you get.

you mean finnish or finish.....i think i learnt that pre-elementary school ;)
no worries though im sure just a typo. ;)

the finnish are a wonderful people though !

A more important question is why wouldn't you want MMA in Toronto, some of the fine ladies of the sport might come to town as well

Including Kyra Gracie, if you've never googled my name I have to ask why not? She is one of the "other" Kyra's that come up and being a big fan of the Brazilians and the style don't think I didn't take note of that when I selected my name. She's hot and a damn good fighter! ;)

I like your taste, Kyra! I'd like to see her perched on your table too.
Now I have to google MMA, never heard of this sport. Even Dalton knows about it, I feel really out of touch.
