I can't remember if I posted this here before, but a few years ago I had the privilege of getting up close and personal with a 500+ lb. male grizzly. I learned how to feed him by holding a bunch of grapes on the flat palm of my hand, and as soon as his massive tongue licked the grapes off my hand, I was able to reach up and scratch him on the head between his ears. The only thing separating me from the bear was a small electric fence and the friend I was standing with.
Bears are awe inspiring creatures and the more time I spend close to them, the more I want to do it again.
