This is now the third or fourth gang related shooting recently. What should our cops-government should be doing?. We are going to become the second Detroit soon if they don't do something about it pronto.

I am beginning to become concerned. I don't care so much if gangbangers want to off each other in the privacy of their own homes. But this brazen shooting in public is untenable. I'm thinking twice about taking my family to the CNE.

Like a tweet I read, "When is the government going to recognize that there is a gun problem?" Followed by a bunch of silly tweets about how they need to stop the manufacture of guns and blahblahblah.....

This will cause a renewal for demands of a gun registry once again but the reality is that legal gun owners don't go to street parties packing and shooting a bunch of innocent people.

Four people were sent to hospital after three separate shootings Friday night and early Saturday morning, adding more violence to a deadly week in gun-related crimes.Gunfire rang out near in Scarborough, Jane and Finch, and west of the city between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m.A 43-year-old man was rushed to a trauma centre after a shooting near Kennedy and Ellesmere Rds. in Scarborough around 4 a.m. on Saturday.

The victim suffered several gunshot wounds to his abdomen but his injuries are not life-threatening.The gunfire followed two other shootings in the city late Friday night.A shooting near Jane St. and Finch Ave. W. left a 31-year-old man with life-threatening gunshot wounds to his head. The gunfire broke out in a parking lot on Driftwood Ct. just before 10 p.m.Less than two hours later, police found two young men in a car splattered with bullets holes near the intersection of Jane and Bloor Sts.A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.

The second victim, a 21-year-old man, was shot in the arm. Their injuries are not life-threatening.The two men were rushed to St. Joseph’s Hospital.The victims had driven to the intersection after they were shot north of it around 11:30 p.m., said Sgt. Niels Sondergaard.

The car was riddled with bullets and shell casings were found on Humber Blvd., police said.Police are looking for a male suspect in his late teens described as black, 5-foot-9 with a shaved head.
