Just adding my five cents into the conversation--LOL
A lot of these high end Indy's were former agency girls who developed a lot of regulars and decided to go Indy. For example, Kat Calla, Natasha Summers, Rebecca Richardson, Naomi Nixion and Charlotte Edwards etc.
I've kind of studied this high end Indy market myself. I think the reason a lot of these Indy's charge higher prices is because they put more of the "personal touch" into their sessions. For example, I've read Charlotte Edwards website thoroughly. She says on her website, "that she really cares about her clients well-being" etc. Whereas a lot of agency ladies don't really give a s#it about you as a client--LOL
Kirk, I agree with you that mostly high-end professionals see these Indy's. However, I think these Indy's also appeal to single or divorced guys like myself, who may or may not be looking for more of a "connection" in their sessions.
I used to be very naive how this hobby really worked, and as a result was banned from a few agencies for various reasons. Then last year, I developed a good phone friendship with Ashley@Eye Candy. Ashley explained to me, how things worked from the agency owners perspective. Ever since, Ashley enlightened me, I've kind of stopped seeing SP's--LOL
True, this year I've had physical injuries (ie knee and blood pressure problems etc), but now my physical injuries seem to have subsided.
Here's what Ashley told me. I probably should just keep this to myself, but I appreciate how nice you guys were to me at the last TDL party, so here goes--LOL
1. The top SP's at both Eye candy and Mirage can sometimes see up to 8-9 clients a day. 2. This is just a "job" to most of these ladies, and they usually dislike clients who just book for half an hour, because they don't make much money after giving the agency their cut.
Side note.....now I realized why some SP's disliked me, because I usually just booked for half hour appointments--LOL
I'm been doing this hobby off and on since 2005, so I have seen my fair share of SP's, even though I haven't seen that many lately.
Until Ashley told me, I just thought these top agency SP's only saw 2-4 clients a day. How naive I was!!
Last thing, therefore another reason why these Indy's charge such high prices is because they only want to see 2-3 clients a day and hopefully make the same kind of money as popular agency ladies who can sometimes see 8-9 clients a day, as I already mentioned upthread, make!!
