I noticed this post from Repo in another thread.

A twitter page should also be set up letting us know where the radar fishing holes are being manned. The insurance companies with the help of the police are becoming unbearable on Canadians.

I think that's a terrific idea. I know of sites that state the most common fishing holes https://www.speedtrap.org/city/9279/Toronto but I would love to see a live social forum where drivers reveal which intersections are now live. This may annoy some but lets face it, getting ticketed for 10 to 15 over in most of the radar set-ups is a total cash grab in my opinion.

To be effective you need to be on-line while speeding through town. Yet another distraction.

A better way to avoid tickets is to stick to the limit.

I go with the flow, might cruise 115 at the most but usually 105 when the limit is 100.
School zones are trickier, it's easy to miss them.

I've had 1 ticket in the last 20 years.

Cruising at 115 will get you a speeding ticket if a cop is in a bad mood.

To go with the flow of traffic on the 401 when it's not stop and go you must drive at speeds of 120 or more. Whenever the question of speed traps come up some post follow the law, what a bunch of horse shit. That same individual drives at 120 to follow the flow of traffic. The speed limits on the highways and in some rural streets are a joke considering the better design of vehicles today.

I admit it I have a lead foot but my driving record is flawless.
