Back to the gym

Workout motivation....

Workout motivation....

I just don't have any. Even though I'm perilously close to crossing over from Fluffy into Flabby, it's been a week since I've done a crunch. Or squats, or arms, or the hula hoop, or any of the rest of it.

And I've had McD's for breakfast twice, Saturday I had cupcakes for dinner, and yesterday there were Junior Mints. In all fairness to me, I did balance them out with a salad...with lots of dressing, and not that lo-fat crap either.

I'm reminding myself that summer is coming, but pffffft....it's still months away. When I do focus I tone pretty quickly, which is great but lets me get away with putting it off.

I'm wondering what other people do to get themselves back in the habit?

I had my bike tuned up a couple weeks ago...

Bought a new helmet last week. (Old one was damaged in the near death "almost an accident- but avoided it by combination of sheer luck and extreme riding skill")

Started riding on Monday!

Froze my ass off each day, since, but it sure feels good to be back in the saddle!!! :great:

Pretty soon now:

Best advice ...spinner or cycling...you cant go wrong. And of course plenty of huggings :)

ps. hate to break the news...salad dressings arent as healthy as a combination of extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar (red or white)....

pss. Have you ever tried cupcakes from Sprinkles in Bevelry Hills, Ca :) (red velvet and chocolate coconut...sooooo friggin goood!!!!!:)

I'm out of junk food, stopping McD's hashbrowns and the sweet tea that I love so much, have no cigarettes, rarely eat bread and haven't had pasta yet this year. Most of the time I live on protein, fruit and salad. It's enough.

I have to draw the line somewhere, and I do it at the salad dressing. It's already a bowl full of rabbit food, that's enough healthy.
