I heard somewhere that bacon cooks very well in the microwave, but I'm not sure what to use. I think I saw some sort of rack that held the bacon, I guess I could just put it on a plate...

I've only ever laid strips of bacon on a plate for microwave cooking, strewing them over a rack seems altogether too much effort lol​

How?.

place them upside down on a baking sheet

wrap bacon around then to form a bowl

bake at 425 F for about 25 minutes

remove from oven and let cool 10 minutes

the bacon bowl will lift off

fill with mac and cheese or what ever your pleasure might be

Bacon will cok in a microwave but it lacks the flavor punch frying or baking will add
