Here's what I did a couple times while abroad in Europe, pretty obvious but might be useful.
You have a trip to Europe/ somewhere else and a long (5hours+) connection in Heathrow? You can have 1 hour of fun in downtown if not you will at least learn what's a "heavily photoshopped profile picture".
beforehand:
- visit escort sites, especially captain69 (they rate the agencies) and find a SP close to paddington station/gloucester road if you don't have much time. Otherwise check the Tube website to plan your trip if you have to go further than paddington.
- take note of the agencies' numbers you'd like to check. Have a backup SP.
- you can book online your appointment on the agency website usually
- make sure you got at least 5 hours of connection. 4 might be doable but risky. Count 1 hours for transportation to Paddington back and forth, 1 hour of fun and 1 hours for the delays you'll encounter.
- check if you need a visa for transiting/exiting in London
- make sure you have an unlocked cellphone that works in Europe. Tri band I think.
- before flying, buy a return ticket with heathrow express , you can find coupons or discount with google (there for example), otherwise it's around 25-30 pounds for 1 person
Once you have landed:
- once you arrive in London, your luggage should be transferred automatically to your next plane. You can simply exit the airport as if London was your destination
- in the airport you can buy a cheap sim card that includes around 10 minutes of conversation and some texts. Around 10-15 pounds.
- you can also buy a map of london if needed.
- the heathrow express brings you in central London in around 20 minutes, at Paddington station
- with you new sim card you can call the agencies, sometimes they text you the location. There are options just around the paddington station, you might not need to take the tube
- if you have to take the tube, you can buy a ticket at a machine inside paddington station. Make sure you know your trip.
- make sure you arrive at the airport at least 1 hour before your next flight if you fly through Europe, 2 hours if going somewhere else.
