Bees blanket New York restaurant

Thousands of bees blanketed the front door of a restaurant in New York, forcing police to cordon off the block.

About 15,000 buzzed around the Cipriani Wall Street restaurant, as they were following the queen bee, which was trying to get in.


"We had 15,000 girls who wanted to get in and have a nice, fresh Bellini on a hot, sunny day," general manager Eric Bonnetain joked.
