Blown out Appendix

On July 10 my appendix blew a hole in itself.
In retrospect I have had problems with it for a year but never paid attention to it.

So now I have had a drain in it for weeks and am on IV antibiotics yet this is not a post of poor me. Rather it is one of pay attention to pains; they might be serious.

The offending organ comes out September first and waiting sucks.

Started out as occasional pain in the belly and as most of us would do I ignored it.

The on 7-10 it felt as if two baseball bats hit me in the stomach full bore.

So I worked another hour and a half and went home and slept for 30 hours.
That was on a Saturday. On Monday I finally went to the ER and spent 8 days in the hospital.

My appendix burst the same day my eldest daughter was born... :shock: Mrs. CG was almost a mother and a widower the same day! I couldn't even help her through labour! :frown: Long story... no time to tell it now... Maybe later.
