Anyone familiar with this line of work shoe/boot? Especially their Green Patch safety shoes.

They caught my eye, and it's time I replace my Dakota quad comforts. (They're getting pretty chewed up. )

Work requires that I have steel toes, and 'business like' footwear. I want a steel shank, comfort, and preferably slip resistance.

Wiuld it be worth considering switching to blundstones? Of course other recommendations are appreciated.

Been wearing Blundstones for years. Love 'em. Easy to slip on, slip off. Extremely comfortable. Don't have the steel toe version, but presume they would feel good.

Here's a picture for you, GOD.

Cardinal Fang, you'll notice these boots are naked. (In fact, I couldn't even find a picture of them wearing any clothes.)

I wear Kodiak SAM"s now also need green patch that look like regular shoes
I will look for a link for a picture

I get a couple of years out of Red Wing boots

yeah, I was going to mentioned red wings too....

You could also try timberland pro....

But dakota offers a composite toe shoe that I wore all summer and they were awesome. Put a better insole in and I didn't even notice they were safety shoes....although, since I was working outside construction, they just didn't stand up to the rough terrain. The sole tread sections started peeling off after a couple of months......

They are $300 a pop :Thatwas-bad:

a buddy I worked with last winter had a pair of (don't remember the brand) that were good for -40 and cost him $398.......too rich for my blood....
