Sending such young children away from home and family is something I absolutely cannot comprehend. Why?? Putting your very young child in the hands of strangers, away from the love and nurturing of parents. It sounds like every child's nightmare. How could they not feel abandoned? Just such an odd and sad tradition. Such blind faith in a group of people you really cannot know. I don't even board my dog...
