  • 'The age limitations on these various computer games are there for a very valid reason,' coroner John Pollard warned
  • Mass murderers Anders Breivik and Mohammed Merah were avid players of Call Of Duty

His stepfather should be liable for his death. What idiot lets a 14 year old play that game.

Um yeah, and Ozzy Osborne is responsible for teenage suicides too.

It is a fun game.

An unfortunate tragedy for sure.

But...blame the player not the game.

although games (TV, movies..etc..and rap music..lol) desensitize people to violence, death, loss of life etc...

But so does living in Kabul, Tel Aviv or a million other places, yet 99% of the people who live in violent regions are still good people.

Seems to me that Callum already was hearing voices. Not the game's fault.

+ 1. He was already having other issues that probably played a much bigger role in his suicide. I don't think the game is the cause of it.

Warning Graphic Content: Wichita Police Department releases the body camera video of officer-involved shooting. Police say the man shot was a victim of a 'swatting' prank. (Video by Wichita Police Department)A Kansas man shot to death by police earlier this week was the victim of a misdirected online gaming;prank; known as swatting, authorities said Friday.

The victim, Andrew Finch, was gunned down Thursday night after cops received a 911 call from a man who claimed he had shot his father and was holding his mother and younger brother hostage. I shot him in the head and he's not breathing anymore; the caller said, according to a recording released by WPD.But investigators say the disturbing tale was made up by a;prankster; to get a SWAT team to descend on an address.

As it turned out, the caller gave cops Finch's address, believing it belonged to a person he had gotten into a heated argument with over a $1 or $2 ;Call of Duty; wager.Tyler Barriss
