HOUSTON (KTRK) --
A woman accused of killing three teenagers in an accident and then running away came face-to-face with a judge overnight.

Raquel Vazquez-Hernandez appeared in court in handcuffs. She has been charged with four counts of failure to stop and render aid to a fatality, according to police.

The accident happened on Woodridge Drive near the South Loop Saturday morning. Police say Vasquez-Hernandez was speeding in a white Chrysler, heading southbound on Woodridge when she ran a red light near the South Loop and slammed into a blue Chevy Cavalier.

Inside the Chevy were six teenagers. Three were killed and three others injured. Two of the victims were Allyssa Munoz and her brother, Brett Suarez. Their parents are Cy-Fair Volunteer Firefighters Raquel Geddry and Michael Shane Geddry.

The third victim who died at the scene was identified by authorities as 14-year-old Carlos Cisneros-Zurita.

A witness contacted police and let them know of Vasquez-Hernandez's whereabouts. Vazquez-Hernandez was taken into custody at a family member's residence without incident.

HPD says there was a passenger in the car with Hernandez. They're still looking for that person.

The judge ordered that Vazquez-Hernandez be held without bond.

All she had to do was remain in the scene of the accident. Now she is doomed for life.

Such a shame and they had their whole lives ahead of them.

Would love to hear what she has to say after she gets caught.

That is sad to see but you are telling me that there are videos in every home recording sidewalks?.

It's not even first degree murder, lots of people more deserving of punishment.
