Made with Love

Car detailing

Actually, no, I do not use a detailer. I prefer to do it myself. When I do my truck (shaddup tboy and papysmerf)...

Start by washing it down with zipwax car wash soap, an extended brush and a washing mit. Then hand drying it with terry towels. Clean the interior, by vacuuming and shampooing the carpets, and use those for the dash etc. Final touch- tire shine. :)

Cost? Mrs CG gives me a Amorall Gift pack every year for Fathers day. So nothing to me, aside from a few hours of my time on a Saturday or Sunday.

Results: Truck looks as good as the day I bought it with the exception of a couple door dings, (farkin parking lot barbarians! :grrrrrr:), and a few small scratches... (Teenagers with bikes! :grrrrrr:)

To answer the question, last year I paid $200 flat for interior plus exterior.

The job was tremendous and well worth the money.
