Flying Cat
Fifteen years ago, when there was no
YouTube, and about half the people using the Internet had dialup connections, and e-mail attachments couldn't be larger than 1 MB, and
CanBest was the only escort review board, people would get their video clips at sites like
punchbaby.com, which would have a new video clip four of five times a week, often in shitty formats like .asf, or in .mov files where the picture frame was about two inches wide, and the picture would be all pixelated, if you made it bigger. They were made like that, because watching or downloading a video file took forever, with dialup. You'd have to wait for half an hour, to see all of a two minute video clip. At punchbaby, you downloaded the clip, and watched it with Windows media player for .asf, .wmv, or .mpg file types or with Quicktime for .mov file types. There weren't any other video formats.
Flying Cat is a video from
punchbaby.com. It might or might not be available on
YouTube, but it would take forever, to try to find a clip that's 18 seconds long. It's shitty quality, because someone probably taped it from TV, and that person used an antenna for TV reception, and local weather affected the picture quality, but it's still watchable, until a better copy surfaces at a future date, which is unlikely, because not many people ever videotaped the local news, and didn't tape over it later.
