Maybe you could share with us exactly why you agree this should be an option for everybody, or anybody for that matter? Would help clarify management's view on the direction this forum is to pursue.

TCO - when should the Report Post button be used?

That is a tough question.
A good answer is any post that is clearly threatening. Personal attacks. Attempting to out people. Racist post. All reported posts will be reviewed as quickly as possible.

The time not to use it is when you simply disagree or dislike someone. You can always ignore them and that in most cases will solve the issue.

Now just because a post is reported does not mean you will get the response you expected. Egregious violations will be handled immediately. Less serious ones can and will likely be discussed by committee. And the outcome might be let the post stand. If this is the outcome so be it.

I hope this helps clarify the idea behind the report button. In the past there were few issue with its use and we hope that trend continues.
