My new place of employment is having the party at a local restaurant/hot spot. Both food and drink are on the house but I declined. Since I stopped drinking and went vegetarian these things usually make me feel like a square peg in a round hole. I've been to these types of events before and they rarely have something I can eat and with everyone else getting tuned up, and on that wavelength, I just don't fit in.

2) A pound or kilogram of an illegal drug, eg. marijuana, cocaine, heroin
