As for the food......
Sadly, I chickened out on the Notorious PIG. I sauntered up to the counter at Bacon Nation, looked at the menu, and said "meh". No, it wasn't even the disapproving looks from my buddy. I just didn't feel like bacon. Gasp.
ive been to the Ex 19 out of the past 20 years and it seems as though they're finally stepping up the game with food. There are def more choices now. I even considered the Mongolian place (glad I passed on that).
I can recommend the clam chowder from the place right beside epic burger. Thick and creamy and deeeelicious. I also had the lobster roll, which was 4x better than McDonald's but only twice the cost. The blooming onion was as good as usual, but I regret eating it after reading today's Star (The Dish).

i must be getting old because I passed on the corndogs too!
The midway was the same as usual. (Proud to say that I beat a bunch of small kids at the water gun games to win a few stuffed animals. Lol).
Its overpriced, cheesy, corny, hot and sweaty (not in a good way). But, I love the Ex. As we were walking out through the midway around dusk, I thought to myself...this is what I love about Toronto!
