How often are white people racially defamed by being called an ape of any kind ......then ask yourself, how often have African Canadians/Americans been referred to as apes, to racially insult them? That should answer your question. Name calling isn't nice, sometimes I'm not nice...but I don't feel bad when I'm not nice towards Trump......as you probably already know.

And yet some believe we all evolved from apes.
So for them it would be at best a statement of fact. :biggrin2:
