Interesting that you mentioned that.
It was peculiar that the "New-Coke" formula brought it closer to the Pepsi formula as a taste profile, then shortly thereafter brought Coca-cola classic back.
Some thought that what that the whole exercise was an attempt to introduce a coke product that would steal share from pepsi while at the same time create a nostalgia for the old product.
Dangerous.
