Your review should be a sticky in a health forum somewhere. :good:
A health forum???? You mean there are other forums???? Seriously, thanks for the approval. But I belong to too many forums now without joining a health one.
I wrote the above cuz every guy (and woman) over 50 should consider getting one. Particularly if there is a family history of cancer.
I delayed for so long because my doctor said the fecal blood test would tell us everything necessary.
But, when I moved to Toronto, I got a new family doctor and he said, the fecal blood test will tell you if there's blood in your poop, which could be an indication of an already established cancer, where a colonoscopy can see polyps and anything else, before they become cancer. That seems sensible to me, so I did it, and I'm glad I did.
So, I wrote it here, so you folks would be better informed and not fear the procedure.
If you want to know the clinic I went to, to get your doctor to refer you there, just PM me and I'll pass along their name.
One of the things I found out when I was researching the whole process was, that it is important to find a doctor who does a lot of these, and has had lots of practice at it. And clinic I went to was very busy and they were going full blast with several doctors doing the procedure.
Despite being a bit nervous. I actually felt safe there.
