What compels some gentlemen to write a review while I see so many that just post in the lobby and do not? When one writes a review, is it to assist the pay for play provider or to relive the encounter? Secondly do the readers enjoy reading a graphic detailed review or just a point by point fact based review?

Some of our members that hang out in the Lobby don't see escorts, or they reviewed the ones they see a long time ago and don't have anything new to report, and some see SP's but don't like writing reviews. I think most guys write reviews to relive the encounter and let other guys know about their experience, rather than to help the ladies get more business. Writing a review with the motive of benefiting the SP is called shilling.

I like to relive the experience and to share it so that other guys can benefit, and the agencies and ladies I've seen can benefit from the exposure. It's a win win win. I honestly didn't start out writing my SPs reviews to be explicit. I originally intended them to be like my MPA reviews, but once I started down the explicit path, it just seemed the thing to do.
I do a lot of writing for a living, and I used to write a lot of amateur fiction, so writing is in my blood I suppose. Writing reviews is way more fun than writing reports so there's another benefit there as well.

I'll write a good review of a lady if she was good enough to stand out from the rest. If she's new and good enough to stand out, then I think she deserves a good word that might help her business, but also so that others might enjoy the experience.
On the other hand, I'll write a poor review, or a warning to other members of a lady with sub par services.
Only two bad reviews I can remember writing. One was a girl who I wrote a good review on, but the repeat was a disaster, double booked. And the other was a girl who wasn't interested in repeats, just in getting me out the door as fast as possible.
another one I should have wrote a bad review on was the lizard lady, but I wrote a lot about that in a thread about worst experiences.

A crass view of clients. Many are genuinely glad to help a lady's business
I agree, most of the reviewers here do it to help out the ladies business.
Although some ladies do not deserve any attention because of the review board bashing they do on Twitter and the constant whining and degrading the same clients they hope to extract money from!
I don't really review, kind of feel bad for not reviewing but I have my reasons.
I am being disillusioned by the nonsense some ladies post on twitter and some I've written right off.

I occasionally go on Twitter but like Analme I do feel like I've entered a bar where it's very easy to be turned away. Twitter is in a way very political in some ways where the review boards cater more to the gentlemen.
As for reviews I've been seeing a wonderful lady as of late so I've not hobbied often but when I do submit a review it's only after having had a wonderful time and it is in hopes of helping the young lady out with her business.

Reviews are weird for me. People like to use social media, twitter, Facebook, etc. Some people photograph. Others blog/vlog. You get my drift.
Reviews are a moment to revisualize an experience for me. Putting your thoughts, feelings (emotional and physical) as well as motivations on paper. As a new kid on the block, I wanted to change things up a bit. Although I've never written anything more than two paragraphs (besides to a lady that inspired me to write some), I think it's a nice way for the reader to decide whether or not they'll enjoy that experience.. Maybe I'm just full of myself but I'd think if someone were to be creative with their writing it might push others that are possibly too anxious or unsure to take at least one step. Am I a Shill? Depends on your view.
As for Twitter stuff: I don't use it , but well, everyone has biases and ignorance to a degree, on any side of the table. If I am myself and not to your liking, move on, or if you ask me, I will!
