Controversies over dress codes

One minor point she is missing though, the pupils parents,... aren't students.

I do agree that students I see walking around today, don't seem to have a clue what one should look like when looking for, and what kind of employment they expect to find, with a ring in their nose, and half shaved purple hair.

But isn't that the parents duty, not the schools ?

Who else would you blame, the schools that have every right to determine appropriate dress code in schools.
