Fraser said the officer — who suffers from Type 1 diabetes — had extremely low blood sugar level at the time of the offence which could have caused a radical change in his normal demeanor.

Sure sure, another sharp lawyer gets the cop free.

At least he didn't actually taser the guys. Although I'm not really comfortable with his using the blood-sugar defense when it was under his control, he should have eaten.

A few years ago I was aware of a case involving police tasing a guy multiple times...while he was handcuffed, shackled and hooded. I'm not sure how it ever turned out.
