Corus Radio’s news-talk stations, on Tuesday, June 17, will broadcast the fourth show in its Canadians Talk series with Canadians Talk Prostitution, a discussion in response to the new prostitution laws (Bill C-36) proposed by the Canadian Government on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. Hosted by Toronto’s Talk Radio AM 640’s Jeff McArthur, listeners are invited to express their views on the proposed legislation to criminalize the purchase of sexual services in public spaces.

AM980 (London) at 7 p.m. ET
Talk Radio AM 640 (Toronto) at 7 p.m. ET

The above radio stations and news website are running an online poll asking listeners to share their thoughts on the proposed prostitution law. The poll is open until 2:57 a.m. ET on Wednesday, June 18, after which the results will be announced. Canadians can also follow the national conversation and share their views online via the radio stations’ website or on Twitter.

Will make a point of calling.

Talk Radio AM 640 (Toronto) at 7 p.m. ET

Emily was fantastic followed by Dan who was a moralistic Joy Smith supporting twit.

Chase was embarrassing followed by a john who really didn't do much for the cause.

We need some great articulate spokes people who can make our case!!!

Kudos to Emily, I agree she was great and so was Sam from Whitby.

640 is all commercials with a little talk here and there. I wish Peter Mackay would have stayed on the air to take questions.

This last caller is incredible, what a loser and a Joy Smith plant.

Most callers were for the decriminalization of prostitution while the abolitionist and supporters of Joy Femminint Smith were planted in.

We NEED TO TAKE THIS BATTLE TO THE BATTLEAX HERSELF!!

Joy Smith will be there along with two supporters trying to brainwash the public and demonize the Johns!

This is where all the support groups should be in attendance, all agency owners, all MP owners, all clients, sps, mpa's who are out in the open about their jobs and hobby. Media would pick up on this and show the public how many ladies do this voluntarily by choice.

I missed it (on purpose), I didn't want to end up calling a host a jackass again like last time.

I'd like to go

I think it would be great if Allegra and Emily showed up to this town hall meeting to take Joy Smith down a peg or two.

Sure have it in a traditional conservative area (Etobicoke), why not host in it a left wing downtown Toronto area (Church Street)?
