“PSY” is a South Korean rapper (also known as Park Jae Sang) who has become a star both for his wild sense of humor and his ‘out there’ performances. (He loves to make fun of the music industry, even dressing up as and impersonating other popular female pop stars in South Korea.)

Now, his music video for “Gangnam Style” has gone crazy viral in the USA. Why?? Just Watch! It is SO over the top! There are so many comedic elements in it - so many strange scene changes, costumes and dance montages, you can’t look away. Maybe that’s why it’s gotten more than 11 million views!
I particularly love the overzealous use of the wind machine. The models flanking him can’t even pretendto act like it’s not too much. I can almost hear “This wasn’t in the contract” coming out of their mouths, as they spit pieces of confetti and random trash off their tongues.
PSY reportedly received his education in the United States, graduating from both Boston University and Berklee College of Music.
