He has a good point about pharmaceuticals, I believe the court made the right decision to find him not guilty because of insanity.

But why would he be a good representative for the people in his riding?

I don't know anything about the case where he was found guilty by reason.....for all we know it could have been a mercy killing in which case, I fully support him.

As for being a good rep or not, hell, name me 1 politician who IS a good rep.......

a bit off topic but nevertheless dealing with a politican.....you can always be a politican even if you screwed up in the past. Look at ford...He was:

1. busted for drinking and driving (yes tboy he did refuse to take a breath analyser test...)
2. caught smoking dope (yes Tboy, its no big deal....)
3. strangling a student when he was coaching a high school football team
4. accusing homo for spreading hiv/AIDS in front of reporters....
5....fill in the blanks...

so folks, if you cant find a decent well paying job with a shady background, try being a politican and get good bucks

But aside from that... as a father of 3 myself, I just CAN'T IMAGINE bringing harm to one of them, let alone taking my own child's life regardless of the situation. Having said that, our children are all (thankfully) in very good health, so I have no idea what this guy went through.
