Ah the gap, reminds me of a jeans store that used to be in toronto....it was called The Gap and their slogan was "fall in to the gap" lol....

Holy crap, I didn't make the connection between the jeans store called "The Gap" and Gap......I wonder if they are even the same chain......

The copyright on their website says 1997, The Gap was around in the '70s.......going to look into this....brb

While there is mention of Gap in the US and later Europe, no mention of them in Canada so I still wonder if it was the same chain. (not to hijack this thread of anything lol). It does fit however because they state on the history page that they exclusively sold Levis and that's what I remember.
