these 10 foods many of us eat daily and all are destructive to our health, deadly even.....Top 10 The Worst Foods Which Damage Your Health Daily | Bewellhub

I never trust internet lists of things that are bad... MSG is actually natural but added to many foods... too much of anything can be bad, but as far as I know there is no evidence that normal levels are harmful... if they were the FDA would ban it. Same goes for other products.

Picking and choosing results can be misleading. One product they suggested as an alternative preservative was vitamin E, but there are some concerns about excessive vitamin E... But given its a fat soluble chemical I'd be worried about possible liver damage and other side effects of excessive consumption. But again a review found that normal levels are not harmful.

Too much of anything is probably bad for you.

Well there are many who don't trust the FDA, and for good reason....But you are right MSG, is a natural amino acid, but there are as many who say adding more of it can prove harmful to some, as there are those who denounce those claims. Same could be said about arsenic......It doesn't hurt to be cautious though, read labels and *carefully* choose authenticated organic whole foods, if you want to eat healthier:) Natural doesn't always mean healthier......

Hmmmm.....

There are many who don't trust NOAA, and for good reason.....but you are right CO2 is a natural gas in the atmosphere, but there are as many who say adding more of it can prove harmful to some, as there are those who denounce those claims.

Nope.....gotta go with "accepted science" on this one too. :)

Accepted by who? Most data out there will have nay sayers and those who agree with it, making it questionable for some .
The group to which you refer, for those who didn't know the, NOAA is the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and like most agencies, it has employees, administrators, scientists, etc, who help run it and who and collect it's data, to supply the public and others, with what they deem, valuable information, reports and statistics. But this information can also be questioned, by other scientists. Most scientists use cutting edge research, and high tech instrumentation, so they claim, to come to their findings, but again, other scientists can and often do, question one another's findings. But as an average Jane or Joe,who don't usually know who's right, or who's wrong, or who to believe, we're supposed to take these findings as truth......or as you put it, as "accepted science", but some average "Janes and Joes" are also smart, and aware, and also know how to research and come to their own findings and truths and question "accepted science":)

Who's Jane and Joe? Why do they get a special mention?

I eat and do everything in moderation. I feel it's the safest bet and as for buy only organic I don't buy into it. Although when given the chance I do always buy my meats, fruits and vegetable from a local farmer.

There's the problem. You are asking people dependent on government funding to decide what is valuable.......any chance it'll be the stuff the members of government who dole out funding wants to hear? Why is it so easy for people to believe in government conspiracies from "the other side" but not from their own.

I'm not saying that scientists in general are corrupt.....just that the way funding is done is going to cause some corruption at the very least. A scientist will have to choose to conduct experiments in areas where there is funding available....and if they want to be considered for funding, they'll want to make it seem as though their research will provide data most beneficial to those who are deciding which projects to fund. It's like anything else....in fashion, do the designers only design what they want or do they design things that people are actually going to buy and wear? In the arts, artists who work in bronze aren't going to get funded in a world where people are looking for advances in digital art. They cannot stick to their pure art if they want to eat and keep making pieces of art. Oh look, there are free market principles at work even in the area of research funding and support for the arts.

There's real bullshit and unperceived bias in everything. So when I hear phrases like "accepted science" the first thing I think is "bullshit". I can't help it.

But you said in your previous post " you gotta go with "accepted science"....... so you'd go with it even when it's bullshit... ? and no there isn't bullshit and bias in everything, but then again, I haven't experienced everything, apparently you have:)
